New Clam Bar Taking Over Harbor Crab Spot in Patchogue

Bayman's Clam Bar is set to open at the former Harbor Crab Co. location on Division Street by Memorial Day. New owners Jay Varney and Will Strano, longtime friends with deep roots in the area, plan to refresh the iconic waterfront spot while preserving its character. Multi-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Intersection in East Patchogue

Authorities responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Patchogue-Yaphank Road and Andreano Avenue in East Patchogue on April 22 at approximately 8:05 a.m. Emergency crews were on the scene, and drivers were urged to use caution and seek alternate routes. Flesh-Eating Bacteria Found in LI Waters Has 20% Fatality Rate

A deadly 'flesh-eating' bacteria known as Vibrio vulnificus has been found in Long Island waters, according to Stony Brook University Professor Christopher Gobler, who spoke at a press conference on the Peconic Riverfront Park in Riverhead this week.
