Community Expo Brings Free Family Fun to Bayport-Blue Point |
Free admission, local businesses, and a packed lineup on October 21 |

Bayport and Blue Point families, mark Wednesday, October 21, on the calendar.
The Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 2026 Community Expo from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bayport Flower Houses, 940 Montauk Highway.
Admission is free, and the theme is simple: come meet the local businesses that support the community.
This is a rare night when the whole town shows up under one roof.
The lineup is packed with activities for all ages.
Kids can meet the animals of Nature Nick Animal Adventures, enjoy free kids activities, and say hello to Quacker Jack.
Suffolk County Police K-9s will be on hand, and the Suffolk County Sheriff's Child ID Unit will be there as well.
A fire safety demonstration rounds out the public safety side of the evening.
Music fans can catch the Bayport-Blue Point High School Jazz Ensemble along with other live entertainment.
Local food trucks will keep appetites covered.
Local athletes and scholars from Bayport-Blue Point also get their time in the spotlight.
The Suffolk County Library System's tech van will make an appearance too.
Visitors can pick up free giveaways while they browse.
There is also a raffle for a $300 gift basket.
Raffles are a longtime expo tradition with a purpose.
In past years, raffle proceeds have supported local charities, scholarships, and community improvement projects.
The expo is held every two years, and past editions have drawn hundreds of residents and dozens of local vendors, organizations, and elected leaders.
Local merchants get to connect with customers face to face, and neighbors meet the people behind the shops they visit every week.
Few events pack that much community into four hours.
Plan to arrive early, bring the kids, and leave time to browse.
Free fun with a hometown feel is hard to beat. |
