Gateway Hosts Haunted Halloween Fundraiser in the Patchogue Area |
A costume contest, cocktails and a night of frights supporting the Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County |

Halloween in the Patchogue area is about to get a lot more theatrical.
The Gateway is inviting the community to step behind the mask on Friday, Oct. 9, for its Haunted Masquerade, a Halloween fundraiser built around costumes and cocktails.
The party runs from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County, 215 South Country Road in Bellport.
This is not your average costume party.
Every ticket comes with VIP admission to Gateway's Haunted Playhouse, a popular local fall attraction.
Guests can also brave the Coffin Ride and wander through the all-new Mr. Tickle's 3-D Funhouse, if they have the nerve.
Between frights, there will be food, cocktails and raffles to keep the night moving.
The costume contest is where things could get competitive.
Organizers are encouraging everyone to dress to impress, so expect plenty of elaborate masks, ghoulish gowns and creative takes on the masquerade theme.
Showing up in street clothes may feel like the scariest choice of all.
Behind the spooky fun is a serious purpose.
Proceeds support professional theatre, arts education and community programming at the Gateway, the kind of work that keeps live performance thriving close to home.
For decades, the Bellport stage has drawn audiences from across Long Island, and nights like this help keep the curtain rising.
Regular tickets are $175, and the early bird discount has already ended.
Anyone planning to go should reserve a spot ahead of time. Get tickets →
Whether you come for the haunted playhouse, the cocktails or a shot at best costume, the Haunted Masquerade offers a festive way to kick off the season.
And every ticket sold helps support the arts right here in our community. |
