Gateway's Haunted Playhouse has opened its 2026 season in Bellport, and a new dark comedy, "Sunday on the Rocks," is running through mid-October at Clare Rose Playhouse.
A few things to know: a nor'easter has Suffolk closing beach camping through the weekend, arson investigators are looking into a fire in East Patchogue, a bus crash snarled traffic in North Bellport, and health officials confirmed a 4th West Nile case in the county.
