Good Morning,

 

A new recharge basin is helping reduce flooding in East Patchogue, while free concerts, arts festivals, recycling events, and community programs are bringing neighbors together. From live music and pet care to school supply drives and Coffee With a Cop, there is plenty happening across the area.

Brookhaven has completed a new recharge basin and drainage upgrades on Hagerman Avenue in East Patchogue, part of a $2.2 million effort to reduce flooding and protect groundwater.

• Free Concert In The Park Returns To Bayport July 30 - The Bayport Blue Point Heritage Association will host its second free summer Concert in the Park on Thursday, July 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bayport Memorial Park, featuring live music by The Flat Leavers.
