The district is considering introducing a mascot, with seven options being considered: Animal (Land), Animal (Air), Knight, Viking, Pirate, and a Spartan, with an option for students to suggest their own.

The Pirate aligns with the current "Raiders" theme.

Student input is valued in the decision-making process, which is led by a committee including student representatives.

The addition of a mascot would give the school community something to rally behind and build pride in the Raiders program.

Analysis of survey results will determine the final choice, with professional input to create designs and a community-wide vote for the ultimate decision.
