Cassidy Weeks, a Bayport native, began her lacrosse journey at age five under challenging circumstances, only to be inspired by her twin, Courtney.
Both sisters have since built extraordinary careersâCassidy starring for Team USA with her sights set on the 2028 Olympics, and Courtney, a championship-winning coach in Sayville.
Their unique chemistry developed at Boston College, where they secured a national title in 2021, and continued to push each other athletically and academically.
An ACL injury threatened Cassidy's collegiate path, but the support of Coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein and her own determination led her back onto the national stage.
Today, Cassidy plays professionally with the Boston Guard, while Courtney recently led Sayville High School to its first New York State crown.
As lacrosse enters the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, Cassidy is eager to bring home gold and inspire the next generation. Read More... |
