Patchogue, NY – The Village of Patchogue Conservation Tree Committee invites residents to participate in its annual Arbor Day celebration, "Let's Plant a Tree!", taking place on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Joseph E. Keyes Jr. Parks & Recreation property, located at 380 Bay Avenue, Patchogue, in partnership with Patchogue-Medford Youth and Community Services.
A Tradition of Environmental Stewardship
Observed each year, Arbor Day in Patchogue is marked by the planting of trees that will contribute to the Village's environmental health and community landscape for generations to come. This year's event will take place at the recreation center, where several native trees will be planted on the property immediately north of the center.
Open to the Community
The event is open to all Patchogue-Medford families, youth, and community members. Residents are encouraged to attend and take part in the planting, reinforcing the Village's ongoing commitment to sustainability, conservation, and community engagement.
Partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation
The Village of Patchogue's Arbor Day celebration is held in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation and reflects the Village's continued dedication to preserving and enhancing its tree canopy.
