Linda Locantore will be recognized as the 2026 Italian-American of the Year during the St. Liberata Patchogue Italian Feast Honoree Reception on Tuesday, August 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 38 West 1st Street in Patchogue.
The reception celebrates Locantore's lasting contributions to the Patchogue community while officially kicking off the annual St. Liberata Italian Feast. Guests will enjoy food by Donatina, live music, a cash bar, raffles, and a 50/50 drawing as friends, family, and neighbors gather to recognize this year's honoree.
The St. Liberata Feast will once again bring Main Street to life with its blend of faith, family, and Italian heritage. Long regarded as one of Patchogue's most cherished traditions, the festival features authentic Italian food, live entertainment, colorful processions, and activities that welcome residents and visitors of all ages. The celebration continues to unite generations while honoring the village's rich cultural roots.
Organizers say this year's festivities carry special significance as the community celebrates Locantore's dedication and service. The event reflects the spirit of togetherness that has made the St. Liberata Feast a lasting tradition and a highlight of the summer season.
Tickets for the Honoree Reception are available by RSVPing before August 4 at stliberatafoundation@gmail.com or by calling 631-207-1000.
