Residents and commuters in Patchogue should prepare for a temporary eastbound lane closure on West Main Street this Wednesday, February 11th.

The closure will affect sections between River Avenue and West Avenue from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This disruption is due to ongoing construction at the Carriage House site, a significant development aimed at revitalizing the area.

Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes to avoid delays.

The Carriage House project is a $160 million mixed-use development that will introduce 262 new apartments, including 53 affordable units, along with retail spaces and a public riverwalk.

This initiative is expected to enhance the vibrancy of downtown Patchogue.

The construction is progressing in phases, with the eastern building slated for occupancy in spring 2027 and the western building in fall 2027.
