Patchogue EV and Sustainability Fair Coming April 11

The Village of Patchogue is gearing up to host the Patchogue EV and Sustainability Fair on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Patchogue LIRR Station parking lot. The rain date is scheduled for April 18, 2026.

 

This free, family-friendly event celebrates Earth Month while highlighting the village's commitment to sustainability and climate action. The fair is presented in partnership with Drive Electric Long Island.

 

A major highlight of the event will be the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly installed solar carport array and EV charging stations at the Patchogue LIRR station. This installation marks a significant milestone in the Village's ongoing sustainability initiatives.

 

Attendees can explore a wide range of activities and exhibits throughout the day:

 

EV Showcase: A diverse lineup of fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles from local dealerships and EV owners will be on display. Residents will have the opportunity to see the latest models, learn about EV technology, and ask questions directly to owners and experts.

 

Sustainability Vendors and Nonprofits: Dozens of organizations will provide information on clean energy, energy efficiency programs, environmental initiatives, and sustainable products and services.

 

Family Entertainment: Interactive activities and programming designed to engage residents of all ages will be available throughout the event.

 

Community Engagement: Attendees can connect with local leaders, businesses, and advocacy groups working to build a more sustainable future for Patchogue and the surrounding communities.

 

The event is made possible through generous sponsorships supporting family-friendly activities. Music and face painting will be sponsored by Johnson Controls and Sunrise Electric. Home Efficiency Experts will provide free ice cream, and the Patchogue-Medford Library will host additional family activities.
