Construction Begins on $10 Million Medical Office Building in Patchogue |
The 12,000-square-foot facility at 60 Lake Street will bring new healthcare options to the community |
Patchogue is seeing new development with the start of construction on a $10 million medical office building at 60 Lake Street, located behind the village's Starbucks.
Developer Allon Avgi of 60 Lake Street LLC is leading the project, with Kulka Group serving as the builder. The two-story, 12,000-square-foot facility was approved by the Patchogue Village Zoning Board of Appeals after Avgi secured the necessary variances for parking and a special use permit.
The new medical office building will add much-needed healthcare space to the Patchogue area. Located on Lake Street, the development sits on a lot that had remained vacant for some time before this project moved forward.
The project represents continued investment in Patchogue's commercial corridor and follows other recent healthcare expansions in the area, including NYU Langone's ongoing development in the village.
Construction is currently underway, with the building expected to offer modern medical office space for healthcare providers serving the Patchogue community and surrounding areas.
The development at 60 Lake Street continues the trend of medical office construction across Suffolk County as healthcare providers expand their presence to meet growing demand in suburban Long Island communities. |
