Disney villains are about to take over a Girl Scout camp in Bayport.

The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County are hosting their “Ghoul Scout Halloween Happenin’” on Saturday, Oct. 24.

This year’s theme is Rise of the Villains, inspired by Disney’s Descendants franchise and its Isle of the Lost setting.

The family-friendly event runs from 3 to 9 p.m. at Camp Edey, 1500 Lakeview Ave.

Costumes are encouraged for everyone attending.

The day splits into two parts.

From 3 to 6 p.m., families can enter a costume contest and make themed crafts.

There is also a poison apple toss, boating, archery, and a photo booth.

When the sun goes down, the mood shifts for the 6 to 9 p.m. nighttime lineup.

The headliner is the Villains Unleashed Spooky Trail.

Guests can also settle in for a Descendants movie marathon, roast marshmallows around a fire pit, and play glow-in-the-dark games.

New this year, anyone walking the Spooky Trail needs a reserved time slot.

The reservation is free, but space is limited, and every person on the trail must have one.

Slots are chosen when admission is purchased, so online ticketing is the way to go.

Younger children, or anyone who wants fewer scares, can try the Baby Bird sessions at 6 and 6:30 p.m.

Those sessions offer a toned-down version of the trail.

Admission is sold online and covers both the daytime and nighttime festivities.

Tickets are $20 for registered Girl Scouts, $25 for children who are not Girl Scouts, and $10 for adults, before processing fees.

Children younger than 4 get in free.

Pumpkin painting and archery cost an extra $5 each, before fees.

Archery is limited to participants in third grade and above.

Tickets and more details are available through the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County website.

For families looking for a Halloween outing that mixes games, crafts, and a scare level kids can choose, this one covers a lot of ground.

The event is Saturday, Oct. 24, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Camp Edey, 1500 Lakeview Ave. in Bayport.
