Burgerology is coming back to Patchogue, and it needs a full crew before the doors open.

The burger restaurant plans to return at 76 W. Main St., taking the spot that Spycoast Kitchen occupied.

The news arrived through the restaurant’s social media pages.

It is a homecoming of sorts, since Burgerology has operated in the village before.

This time, the restaurant says it will bring the same Burgerology experience to a different space.

No opening date has been announced yet.

What is already set is the hiring push.

The restaurant is looking to fill every front-of-house and back-of-house position.

Open interviews are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, and Thursday, Oct. 15.

Each day follows the same schedule, with sessions from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 5 to 8 p.m.

Candidates can choose whichever slot fits their day.

Interviews take place at 76 W. Main St.

No appointment is needed, though applicants are encouraged to bring a résumé.

In its call for workers, the restaurant said it wants people who are passionate about food and hospitality and who want to join a growing team.

For local job seekers, the open format lowers the barrier to getting in the door.

The announcement frames the project as a return to the village rather than a brand-new launch.

That likely means residents who remember the earlier restaurant will be watching for an opening date.

The comeback also gives West Main Street another restaurant story to follow this fall.

Until an opening date is set, the restaurant’s social media pages are the best place to follow along.

The hiring details come down to a few simple points.

Interviews run Oct. 14 and 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m.

The location is 76 W. Main St. in Patchogue.

Bring a résumé, and expect to be considered for any front-of-house or back-of-house role.
