Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Suffolk County voters have four ways to cast a ballot. The Suffolk County Board of Elections released a guide to the options, and Brookhaven Town shared it with residents.

On Election Day

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Voters can find their polling place at voterlookup.elections.ny.gov.

Early voting in person

Early voting runs from Oct. 24 through Nov. 1 at select Suffolk County locations. Dates and times are flexible, and the guide urges voters to plan ahead.

Absentee ballot

Voters can apply for an absentee ballot online at ballotapplication.elections.ny.gov/home/absentee. They can also apply in person at the Board of Elections in Yaphank.

Early mail ballot

Any registered New York voter can request an early mail ballot at ballotapplication.elections.ny.gov/home/earlymail.
