Elly CARES Project Seeks Sponsors for 5th Annual Stomp the Stigma 5K in Patchogue

The Elly CARES Project is gearing up for its 5th annual Stomp the Stigma 5K for Mental Health Awareness, scheduled for May 30 at Shorefront Park in Patchogue.

 

This event honors the memory of Ellyana "Elly" De La Torre, a compassionate young woman who faced her own mental health challenges and passed away in 2021.

 

Organizers are currently seeking sponsors and table vendors to participate in this meaningful day.

 

The goal is to create a space where the community can come together and learn about the many resources and support systems available.

 

"Whether through sponsorship or hosting an information table, it’s a great opportunity to connect with the community, share your services, and support an important cause," organizers say.

 

In previous years, the event has attracted hundreds of participants, reflecting the community's commitment to mental health awareness.
