Alive After Five Wraps Up Its 25th Anniversary Season Thursday

Patchogue’s Alive After Five returns for its final scheduled night of the summer this Thursday, Aug. 13, giving residents and visitors one more chance to enjoy live music, food, shopping and entertainment throughout downtown Patchogue. The festival runs from 5 to 9 p.m.

This summer marks the 25th anniversary of Alive After Five, a community tradition organized by the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce. The 2026 series began July 2 and continued with events on July 16 and July 30 before this week’s finale. Organizers estimate that each night attracts approximately 15,000 to 25,000 visitors.

More than 120 vendors are part of the festival, along with live music on multiple stages, outdoor dining and a children’s area featuring activities such as face painting and crafts. Local artists, performers and businesses also take part, turning downtown streets into a showcase for the Patchogue community.

Thursday’s event is scheduled for Aug. 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. A rain date is set for Aug. 20 if needed. Residents planning to attend can find additional event information through the official Alive After Five page.
